1.Product Introduction

The Circular Spiral Ducting Coupling is part of the Spiral fitting range; V is without rubber gasket, VX is with factory-installed EPDM rubber gaskets.  The double gasket ensures tight and permanent connections between system components that are air-tight and do not require the use of mastic or sealant.

3.Product Feature And Application

A Female coupler allows duct fittings to be joined together, example applications could be bend to bend, reducer to reducer, reducer to bend, reducer to bird beak etc.
When connecting spiral tube ducting to spiral fittings (bends, reducers etc.) couplers/connectors are not required, as all spiral tube ducting has female ends and all spiral tube fittings have male ends.
For a spiral to spiral connection of the same diameter a male coupler should be used.

Male Coupler for Spiral Fittings
A male coupler allows two lengths of spiral tube ducting of the same diameter to be connected together.
Male couplers can also be used along with jubilee clips to attach aluminium flexible ducting to spiral tube.
For a spiral fitting to spiral fitting connection, female couplers / connectors are required.
When connecting spiral tube ducting to spiral fittings (bends, reducers etc.) couplers/connectors are not required, as spiral tube ducting has female ends and all spiral tube fittings have male ends.
