1.Product Introduction

SuperAir Metal Ducting Reducers are the perfect fittings/adapters to use when you need to change from one size duct to another size, used as a duct adapter to decrease (or increase) diameters of a duct system. All Metal Ducting Reducers are manufactured from the highest quality galvanized steel. They are perfect fittings for maintaining maximum airflow through your system while changing to the needed duct size.

To install Metal Ducting Reducers, you can simply slide the reducer into the ducts you are attaching to and fasten with screws or duct tapes. We recommend that you seal the seams with duct sealant after installation to prevent any air leakage, increase the efficiency of your system.

3.Product Feature And Application

The metal ducting reducers are either pressed or segmented, the majority of metal ducting pressed reducers are in the size range up from 100 to 315mm diameter, however some sizes within this range will be segmented. Diameters from 355 upwards are segmented.
● A metal ducting reducer is a fitting used in ventilation systems between two spiral ducts of different diameters. Reducers adapt the duct and enable a change of diameter on a duct run to assist air flows.
● Reducers up to 315mm diameter are pressed reducers (for Standard Sizes), 355mm and above are segmented reducers.
● Reducers for spiral ducting are all male fittings and fit directly into circular spiral ducting (secure using recommended fixing methods).
